Duct Hardware
Single Blade Dampers are typically installed in ductwork as a one-time measure to achieve an air balanced duct system. The single blade damper hardware, which moved the damper from fully open to fully closed position consist of a handle, drive bearing, and end bearing.รก The handle is connected to a quadrant, dial, or regulator. These provide an external visual reference to the position of the damper within the duct. The handle moves the drive bearing attached to the damper blade. The end bearing is attached to the opposite side of the damper blade and protrudes through the duct to provide a pivot point for smooth non-binding movement.
